Known around the world as South Africa’s largest and oldest national park, the Kruger is an exciting safari destination with incredible biodiversity. It has the largest population of the world’s southern white rhino, and is home to the highly endangered African wild dog, of which there are only hundreds in the whole country. Over 500 species of birds and almost 150 mammal species, there is an abundance of game that has attracted both privately guided and self-drive tourists for over 100 years.

            Manyeleti Game Reserve

Manyeleti has been described as the Greater Kruger’s best kept secret. It’s name means “place of the stars” in Shangaan, and this is surely a testament to its untapped beauty. The reserve is a 23 000 hectare stretch of wild land bordered by the Sabi Sand in the south and Timbavati in the north, while the great Kruger National Park spans out on its east wing. It is one of the private nature reserves that make up the Greater Kruger Park, but to this day it is the least traversed despite being perhaps the most scenically beautiful of them all.

              Tswalu The Motse

Tswalu The Motse lies at the foot of the Korannaberg Mountains, facing westwards across the grasslands of the Kalahari. Motse means “village” in Tswana, and our village consists of just nine spacious and secluded “legae” (Tswana for “little house”), which are built of desert sand, local stone, red clay, and traditional Kalahari thatch. Each comprises a spacious bedroom with an open fireplace, an en-suite bathroom with both an indoor and outdoor shower and a private sun deck overlooking a waterhole.
